Lotus Flower (almost) Monochromatic Palette hand embroidery

 Lotus Flower monochromatic palette embroidery

I chose this monochromatic palette to play with texture as opposed to the color. I love the muted warm colors like browns, beiges, soft peaches and pinks, whites and creams. I prefer to add textural feel with the beads, sequins and additional elements.

Metallic DMC thread is also used in the background to create additional elements.

When it comes to beads, a muted color scheme but a variety of textures or in this case, sizes, shapes, finishes add a beautiful and unpredictable elegance tot he piece and definitely take away from
boredom and monotony.

Love, E.
